William Iddings was the son of Richard Iddings and Margaret Charles. William Iddings was born on 22-Jan-1665 at Wales. He married Mary Moore, daughter of Richard Moore and Mary Green, in 1707. His estate was divided into 12 parts, two parts fof his wife and one part each for his nine chlildren and one to the child my wife is now with. Sons Richard and William only being named.

His will stated that he was indebted to Jeremiah Sergeant for 250£ for the indentured and stated he deliver a chest to Mary Sergeant.

He Realizaing his land could be sold our from under him, he purchased the land he had been living on from Chester County, PA for the sum of £20. He acquired 200 acres with the requirement that he pay 1s per hundred acres land tax per year to keep the land free of wolves. On 25-Jan-1716 at Nantmeal, Chester County, Pennsylvania. On 1717 his land was surveyed and was found to contain 268 acres and was classified a plantation.
On 1720 he was assessed 5£ taxes.
On 1721 he was assessed 6£ taxes.
He sold land land which he had acquired previously which had increase to 1000 acres in 1733 at Spotsylvania County, Virginia. On 1734 there was a petition to divide Nantmeal Twp through his plantation to make a Honeybrook Twp., but the plan was defeated.
