Pierre Jacquet was also known as Peter Joquet. He was also known as Peter Joquit. He was also known as Peter Juckett Sr.. Pierre Jacquet was washed ashore at Plymouth, Massachusetts approximately 1690, amid wreckage of a French Man-O-War on which he was serving. Pierre was one of only five survivors of the Cape Cod wreck, the others being Louis DeMoranville, Louis Votau, Peter Crepeaux and the ship's Captain, Francois Crepeaux.

Researchers have located documentation that Captain Francois Crepeaux commanded the French vessel Bonaventure in the time period of the shipwreck. The Bonaventure sailed from Quebec City, New France. Both Francois Crepeaux and his ship are documented in historical notes received from the Acadian Historical Society. He served in the military before 1714 an impressed English seaman of a French warship. He survived the shipwreck. Other survivors of the shipwreck werr Louis De Moranville, Louis Ventue, and Francis Crapo.

The story has come down through the De Moranville and Crapo families and it was also heard an old sailor repeat the same at Freetown that the four were the only ones saved from the shipwreck in Cape Cod Bay. They landed at Plymouth in wreckage. Frances Crapo was a brother of Peter(1) and was Master of the ship which had sailed fro France on which Peter(1) had previously come as a stowaway, at nineteen years of age. Louis De Moranville married Suzannah, one oft the ten children of Peter(1) and Penelope White, of the Mayflower Whites. Louis and Suzanne had a son Stephen De Moranville. On before 1714 He was shipwrecked at Cape Cod, MA.
