Services for Daniel "Bill" Crownover, 83, De Soto, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, 32665 Lexington Ave., De Soto.
Mr. Crownover died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Shawnee Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born July 3, 1921, in Seminole, Okla., the son of Henry and Laura Crownover.
Mr. Crownover served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the De Soto Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Abdullah Shrines and a member of the De Soto United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Cline "Pepper" Crownover, Junction City, and Dennis Crownover, Gardner; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
His wife, Betty Jane Crownover, died June 5, 2004. A daughter, Janie Crownover, died Sept. 25, 2002.
The family will receive friends before the services from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

      Elmer Ray Crownover was born on Apr 25, 1923 at Broken Arrow, Tulsa County, Oklahoma. He was the son of John Henry Crownover and Lura Faye Loman. Elmer married Wilda Caulkins. Elmer Ray Crownover died on Sep 15, 1996 at age 73.

      Retha Lorene Allen was born on Sep 26, 1920. Retha married Dr. Jerry Lee Crownover, son of John Henry Crownover and Lura Faye Loman, circa 1936. Retha Lorene Allen and Dr. Jerry Lee Crownover were divorced. Retha Lorene Allen died on Feb 26, 1985 at age 64.

     LaVerne married Dr. Jerry Lee Crownover, son of John Henry Crownover and Lura Faye Loman; 2nd marrige Jerry.

      Phoebe Bates was born on Sep 25, 1908. Phoebe married Dr. Jerry Lee Crownover, son of John Henry Crownover and Lura Faye Loman; 4th marriage Jerry. Phoebe Bates died on Mar 29, 1986 at Orofino, Clearwater County, Idaho, at age 77.

      Audrey Jean Gainsfaith was born on Apr 5, 1923 at Jamestown, Stutsman County, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Harry Gainsfaith and Thresa Brady. Audrey married Earl Mueller on Jul 9, 1942 at Jamestown, Stutsman County, North Dakota. Audrey married Dr. Jerry Lee Crownover, son of John Henry Crownover and Lura Faye Loman, on Dec 10, 1986 at Moscow, Latah County, Idaho; 5th marriage Jerry. Audrey Jean Gainsfaith died on Jul 22, 2006 at Minot Hospital, Minot, Ward County, North Dakota, at age 83.
     

Audrey Jean Mueller-Crownover, 83, Minot, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, July 22, 2006, in a Minot hospital.

She was born on April 5, 1923, in Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Harry and Thresa (Brady) Gainsfaith. She was reared and educated in Jamestown.

She married Earl Mueller on July 9, 1942, in Jamestown, ND where the couple made their home. She worked at Central Dakota Nursing Home for many years and loved every minute of it. In the 50's she had to retire due to her health. After Earl retired the couple moved to Seattle, WA and then to Orofino, ID, where they lived until Earl's death on May 6, 1982. After Earl's death, Audrey returned to Jamestown to be closer to family and friends.

She married Jerry Crownover on December 10, 1986, in Moscow, ID. The couple made their home in Orofino, ID and later Lewiston, ID. Jerry died on June 1, 2001. After Jerry's death, Audrey returned to Jamestown for one year. Due to her failing health, she moved to Minot, ND to live with her son, August and his wife Nancy. Her final home was a Trinity Homes where she lived until the time of her death.

Audrey loved going to casinos in Idaho when her health permitted it. She also enjoyed dinning out, crossword puzzles, word searches, car rides and ice cream. She loved to embroider dishtowels and pillowcases with her roommate Dorothy. They also loved to eat chocolate.

(Nancy) Meuller, Minot; Marvin (Kelly) Mueller, Lake Stevens, WA, Donald Mueller, Fargo, ND, Morris Mueller, Arlington, WA; daughters, Peggy Rogers, Washington, Shirley (Charles) Hollingsworth, Arlington, WA, Linda Randall, Jamestown, ND, Ruby (Jerry) Stoller, Arlington, WA ; step-daughter, Susie (Frank) Larson, Weppe, ID; 25 grandchildren; 28, great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Gainsforth, Torense, CA; sisters, Caroline (Frank) McGilvary, Rose City, OR and Betty L. Buff, Torense, CA.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Highland Homes Cemetery, Jamestown.
