Sick in General Continental Hotel Hospital, Baltimore December 17, 1862. Was injured in elbow at the Battle of Fredricksburg.

Rejoined company May 17, 1863, which was constructing Fort New Jersey, near Norfolk, Va to June 4. Moved to Portsmouth June 4, 1863. At Camp Cadwallader, Beverly, NJ June 8-20. Mustered out June 20, 1863.
