And now on this day came James McKee administrator of the Estate of Jospeh Conover, deceased, by Read and Black burn, his attorneys, and the said minor heirs by Henry Ganner their guardianadlitem and the said FANNY CONOVER, widow, of said deceased, and HENRY H. CONOVER, ANDREW D.W.S. CONOVER and James and Catherine A. McKee, adult heirs of said deceased, being three times solemny called and came not, but made default, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that lawful notice of the presentation this petition had been publication in the Wabash Valley Republican a weekly newspaper published in Paris, E:L,ar Co., Ill, three weeks successfully commencing January 6th., A. 1854. Thus cause came on to be heard upon the petition schedule and an of the guardianadlitem aforesaid, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said administrator has exhausted all of the personal estate belonging to said deceased, in payment of debts against the estate, and that the remaining unpaid debts amounting to almost the sum of #214.60, and it further appearing to the Court that the said Joseph CONOVER deceased was siezed at one time of certain real estate in said county, hereinafter dissolved, and that the same was mortgaged to James Beard & Alexander Beard, and that by verdict of a decree of the Edgar Circuit Court setting in chancery, obtain at the April term 1853 it was sold on the 18th. day of June 1853, and there exhists in the heirs and administrator for JOSEPH CONOVER deceased, a right to redeem the same. It is therefor ordered adjucgec, and decreed by the Court that the said John McKee administrator of the estate of said deceased, proceed to sell the right of redemption in said lands in sa petition mentioned, towit: The N.W. gr. of the N.W. gr. of section 25 including 13 acres conveyed from Robert Nuchles to JOSEPH CONOVER, except 13 acres of the above named tract; also the S.W. gr. of the' S, L1. gr. of section 24 containing 40 acres, the S.E. gr. of the S.E, gr. of Section 23, containing 40 acres also the S.E. gr. of the S.W. gr. of section 24 containing 40 acres, also a part of the E. hald of the S.E. gr. of Section 55, commencing at Daniel Triplett's N.W. corner running south on his line 14 3/4 rods; thenc West 221/2 rods, thense north 143/4, and thence to 221/2 rods to the beginning containing 2 acres all in township 16 North of range 12 west after having first given notice of the time and place of such sale, for the space of six weeks of successively by putting up notice thereof, in at least four of the most public places. in said county and state and by causing a similar notice thereof of to be published in the nearest newspaper in this state, that he make such sale at public vender, between the house of 10 o'clock in the forenoon and five o'clock in the afternoon. that he sell the same on a credit of not less than sic. nor more than twelve months; that said administrator take bond with good security for the payment of the purchase money, together with a mortgage on thepremlsed, that he make and deliver to purchase a deed conveying all the right, title and interest of said deceased in said premices, setting forth this order wherein and that he report his proceedings the third Monday in June 18! to which time this Court is continued. NOW by virtue of the foregoing, Decreed J. John McKee administrator of said deceased, did on the 20th. day of May A.D. 1854 after having given the required notice, did sell at public auction in the town of Bloomfielc in said county of Edgar, to FANNY CONOVER, she being the highest and best b: for the same, the right to redeem thirteen (13) acres off the South end of the North East gr. of the North West quarter of section 25, twsp. 11 N. of range 10 West for the sum of $67.00 note. Now know all men by these present that by virtue of the aforesa: decree and sale for the consideration of J. John McKee administrator of JOSEPH CONOVER deceased, do hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey and by the presents have
grantor, bargain or sold and conveyed unto FANNY CONOVER and to her heirs and assign forever all the rights with interest of the administrator and heirs of the said JOSEPH CONOVER deceased in and to the land last described above, it being the right to redeem said land and or before the 18th. day of June A.D. 1854. from the sale made aforesaid under the order of the Circuit Court of the said County of Edgar as aforesaid: The said FANNY CONOVER to have and to hold said land with appurtrnsnves unto herself, her heirs and assigns forever. Conover, son of Dennis Conover and Margaret Trim. Catherine Dilts died on Feb 14, 1842 at age 38. Catherine was buried at Old Burial Ground, Lodi, Seneca County, New York.

      Fanny Bacon was born on Jun 5, 1818 at Vigo County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Elijah Bacon and Jalimah Milk. Fanny married Joseph D. Conover, son of Dennis Conover and Margaret Trim. Fanny Bacon died on Dec 1, 1879 at age 61. Fanny was buried at Chrisman, Edgar County, Illinois.

      Marietha Conover was born in 1841. She was the daughter of Joseph D. Conover and Catherine Dilts. Marietha Conover died on Jul 27, 1851 at Chrisman, Edgar County, Illinois.
      She is not listed in the 1850 census.

      Dennis Conover was born on Apr 10, 1835 at Severs, New York. He was the son of Joseph D. Conover and Catherine Dilts. Dennis married Margaret Ann Moore, daughter of Joseph Moore and Hannah Morgan, on Mar 24, 1856 at Edgar County, Illinois. Dennis Conover died on Jun 10, 1909 at Chrisman, Edgar County, Illinois, at age 74.
     

      Andrew Dewitt W. S. Conover was born on May 14, 1830 at Lodi, Seneca County, New York. He was the son of Joseph D. Conover and Catherine Dilts. Andrew married Lucinda Long on Sep 8, 1853 at Coles County, Illinois. Andrew married Lilly Hopkins on Aug 12, 1888 at Arcola, Douglas County, Illinois. Andrew Dewitt W. S. Conover died on Aug 2, 1900 at Camargo, Douglas County, Illinois, at age 70.
     He was also known as Dewitt Conover.

      Margaret Ann Moore was born circa 1832 at Illinois. She was the daughter of Joseph Moore and Hannah Morgan. Margaret married Dennis Conover, son of Joseph D. Conover and Catherine Dilts, on Mar 24, 1856 at Edgar County, Illinois.
     Margaret Ann Moore was also known as Martha A. Moore.

      Henry Holse Conover was born on Jan 2, 1860 at Paris, Edgar County, Illinois. He was the son of Dennis Conover and Margaret Ann Moore. Henry married Eliza Rosella Jones, daughter of George G. Jones and Letitia D. Shoaf, on Oct 17, 1886 at Green Hill, Warren County, Indiana. Henry Holse Conover died on Mar 14, 1934 at Colfax, Whitman County, Washington, at age 74.
     He removed to at Palouse, Whitman County, Washington, in 1884.

     Gertrude Conover was also known as Gistade Conover.

      Terrance Clark Conover was born on May 26, 1870 at Chrisman, Edgar County, Illinois. He was the son of Dennis Conover and Margaret Ann Moore. Terrance married Nellie Bussard, daughter of Otis Bussard and Ann Deakenball, on Nov 8, 1893. Terrance Clark Conover died on Feb 18, 1924 at Paris, Edgar County, Illinois, at age 53.
     He was also known as Terrence Conover. In the census on May 5, 1910 Terrance Clark Conover was named Terence Conover.

      Nellie Bussard was born circa 1879 at Illinois. She was the daughter of Otis Bussard and Ann Deakenball. Nellie married Terrance Clark Conover, son of Dennis Conover and Margaret Ann Moore, on Nov 8, 1893.

      Bertha Ary Conover was born on Jun 17, 1903 at Chrisman, Edgar County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Terrance Clark Conover and Nellie Bussard. Bertha married Wanda J. Burns, son of Nettie (Unknown), circa 1924. Bertha Ary Conover died on Apr 19, 1992 at age 88.

      Leona Pauline Conover was born on May 22, 1909 at Illinois. She was the daughter of Terrance Clark Conover and Nellie Bussard. Leona married Ray Simpson, son of Nathaniel Simpson and Mary Rhyan, on Mar 25, 1925. Leona Pauline Conover died on Oct 22, 1945 at Paris, Edgar County, Illinois, at age 36.
