     Jaques Stillwell Stryker resided at at Kendall County, Illinois, in 1859. He resided at at Gravesend, Kings County, New York, in 1863.

     Mary Margaret Cook was the daughter of Charles Cook. Mary married Jaques Stillwell Stryker, son of Samuel S. Stryker and Ellen Stillwell, on Jun 27, 1861 at Kendall County, Illinois.

     Anna J. De Nyse was the daughter of Richard De Nyse. Anna married Jaques Stillwell Stryker, son of Samuel S. Stryker and Ellen Stillwell, in 1879.

      Richard Stillwell was born in 1789. He was the son of Richard Stillwell and Maria Lake. Richard Stillwell died in 1868; did not marry.

      Ellen Stillwell was born in 1796. She was the daughter of Richard Stillwell and Maria Lake. Ellen married Cornelius C. Stryker, son of Cornelius Stryker and Mary Lake.

     Cornelius C. Stryker was baptized on Sep 12, 1792 at Dutch Reformed Church, Gravesend, Kings County, New York. He was the son of Cornelius Stryker and Mary Lake. Cornelius married Ellen Stillwell, daughter of Richard Stillwell and Maria Lake.

     Jacques Stillwell died in 1794. He was born in 1794. He was the son of Richard Stillwell and Maria Lake.

      Jacques Stillwell was born in 1805. He was the son of Richard Stillwell and Maria Lake. Jacques Stillwell died in 1841; did not marry.

      Ann Monfore was born on Jan 18, 1801. She was the daughter of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven. Ann married Joshua Price, son of Adam Price and Catharine Shafer, on Jan 13, 1829. Ann Monfore died on Feb 10, 1855 at Sheby Twp., Macomb County, Michigan, at age 54.

      Joshua Price was born on Sep 15, 1806 at Rush, Monroe County, New York. He was the son of Adam Price and Catharine Shafer. Joshua married Ann Monfore, daughter of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven, on Jan 13, 1829. Joshua Price died on Mar 11, 1887 at Sheby Twp., Macomb County, Michigan, at age 80.

      Olive Monfore was born on Sep 1, 1797 at New York. She was the daughter of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven. Olive married Dr. Herrick Bromley. Olive Monfore died on Jan 30, 1873 at age 75.

      Dr. Herrick Bromley was born circa 1806 at Vermont. Herrick married Olive Monfore, daughter of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven.

      Lanah Monfore was born on Mar 3, 1795. She was the daughter of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven. Lanah married David Hallock on Apr 24, 1817. Lanah Monfore died on Oct 26, 1860 at age 65.
     She was also known as Helena Monfore.

      Sarah Elizabeth Monfore was born on Apr 7, 1792 at New Jersey. She was the daughter of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven. Sarah married Ansel Packard on May 16, 1810. Sarah Elizabeth Monfore died in 1860.

      David Covenhoven Monfore was born on Jan 30, 1790 at New Jersey. He was the son of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven. David married Celestia Davis on Dec 10, 1817. David Covenhoven Monfore died on Jan 30, 1859 at age 69.

     Celestia married David Covenhoven Monfore, son of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven, on Dec 10, 1817.

      Peter Monfore was born on Dec 5, 1787 at New Jersey. He was the son of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven. Peter Monfore died on Feb 21, 1817 at age 29.

      Deacon Garret Monfore was born on Sep 24, 1784 at New Jersey. He was the son of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven. Garret married Sarah Griswold on Nov 10, 1812. Garret married Lydia Bartlett on Sep 15, 1823. Garret married Patty Smith on May 14, 1826. Deacon Garret Monfore died on Oct 23, 1845 at Center Lisle, Broome County, New York, at age 61.

VI. GARRET MONFORE (Born Sept. 24, 1784; died Oct. 23, 1845).
Garret Monfore, third child of Peter Monfore and Olive Couvenhoven, was born Sept. 24, 1784 in New Jersey; baptized Nov. 7, 1784 (Reading Church Record and Somerset, N.J., Quarterly, Vol. VI., p.228); died Oct. 23, 1845; buried at Center Lisle, Broome Co., New York. Inscription on tombstone (copied June 10, 1947 by Dr. Willard Monfort, a great-grandson of Garret) reads:-"Deacon Garret Monfore, died Oct. 23, 1845. Age 61 years. Blessed are the Dead who die in the Lord". There is quite a space in the lot on either side of Garret's stone but no markers to indicate if other burials made.
Garret was reportedly a very religious man, and very strict with his family. He was said to have been extremely musical, possessing the rare gift of absolute or perfect pitch. He served as choir leader in his church in Center Lisle.
Garret Monfore was married three times:- first to Sally Griswold, next to Lydia Bartlett, then to Patty (or Pathy or Polly) Smith.(Note by Dr. Willard Monfort:- April 30, 1838, Garret Monfore and his wife, Polly, "Pulley", parties of the first part, of the town of Lisle, Broome Co., N.Y., sold to Jonathan M. Hall, party of the second part, for $2150.00, three parcels of land. Signed, Garret & Pathy. Recorded Liber of Deeds, No. 19, on p. 355, 357).
(Note:- the Polly, or "Pulley" or "Pathy", mentioned above was undoubtedly Garret's third wife. Mrs. Robert W. (Winifred Pomeroy) Scott, of Walton, N.Y., a great-grand-daughter of Garret, and grand-daughter of Sally Monfore Pomeroy, wrote me on July 25, 1950, that Garret's third wife was named Patty or Bertha White. But in a family Bible which belonged to Mrs. Carrie Monfore Melick, a grand-daughter of Garret, and now in possession of Mrs. Melick's grand-daughter, Mrs. James Robert (Alta Marie) Kussman, of Yankton, S.D., all three of Garret's wives are listed, with birth, death and marriage dates, and it states that "Garret Monfore was married to Patty Smith on May 14, 1826"---FHM). Garret Monfore's first wife was Sally Griswold, whom he married on Nov. 10, 1812. Sally was born Jan. 27, 1791, and died May 10, 1823. Garret and Sally had four children. They were:-
1. Rhoda F.--Born Aug. 21, 1813, died Nov. 6, 1869, at Croton, N.Y. Married on April 13, 1837, in Croton, to Enos Wolcott, of Croton (born Dec. 12, 1814). They had four children:- Albert C., Watson E., Caroline and Thomas. (Dr. Willard Monfort said Watson E. Wolcott, who was born in 1852 and lived in Oneonta, N.Y., claimed to have the Monfore family record, but the doctor was unable to obtain any information from Watson in spite of repeated requests. One of Watson's sons, Claude or Fred, or other descendant, might have some records). 2. Whiting Griswold Monfore--Second child of Garret and Sally, born May 21, 1815, and died Aug. 13, 1838, at Henry, Illinois. He was a doctor, and had never married. He died at the home of one Elias Thompson, and was a victim of a fever (typhoid?) epidemic which he was fighting.
(Note:- In 1838 Henry was in Putnam County, with the town of Hennepin lying to the north as the county seat. Later the county was divided, the north portion becoming Putnam County, the south portion is located becoming Marshall County. Hennepin is still the county seat of Putnam County, and papers in connection with the closing of teh estate of Dr. Whiting G. Monfort (sic), including correspondence between his father, Garret, in Center Lisle, N.Y., and Elias Thompson, and also between Garret and the court, are on file (No. 49, Box File 2) in the ancient court house at Hennepin.

      Sarah Griswold was born on Jan 27, 1791. Sarah married Deacon Garret Monfore, son of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven, on Nov 10, 1812. Sarah Griswold died on May 10, 1823 at age 32.

      Lydia Bartlett was born on Nov 14, 1788. Lydia married Deacon Garret Monfore, son of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven, on Sep 15, 1823. Lydia Bartlett died on Oct 23, 1825 at age 36.

      Abraham Monfore was born on Jul 18, 1783. He was the son of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven. Abraham married Irene Simmons. Abraham Monfore died in 1855 at Brantford, Brant County, Ontario, Canada.

     Irene married Abraham Monfore, son of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven.

      Nellie Monfore was born on Oct 21, 1780 at Readington, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven. Nellie married Abraham Simonson. Nellie Monfore died on Jan 14, 1857 at age 76.

     Abraham married Nellie Monfore, daughter of Peter Montfort and Aeltje Covenhoven.

      Nelly Covenhoven was born in 1788. She was the daughter of Cornelius Covenhoven and Neeltje Monfoort.

     Hannah Lane was baptized on Mar 13, 1765. She was the daughter of Lt. Aaron Lane and Lydia Van Sickle. Hannah married Isaac Monfort, son of Abraham Monfort and Nelly Voorhees, circa 1784.

      Lydia Monfort was born in 1785. She was the daughter of Isaac Monfort and Hannah Lane. Lydia Monfort died in 1810.

      Nelly Monfort was born in 1790. She was the daughter of Isaac Monfort and Hannah Lane.

      Abraham Monfort was born in 1793. He was the son of Isaac Monfort and Hannah Lane. Abraham married Rebecca (Unknown). Abraham Monfort died in 1824.

     Rebecca married Abraham Monfort, son of Isaac Monfort and Hannah Lane.

      Aaron Monfort was born in 1795. He was the son of Isaac Monfort and Hannah Lane. Aaron Monfort died in 1832.

      Cornelius Lane Monfort was born on Feb 8, 1798. He was the son of Isaac Monfort and Hannah Lane. Cornelius married Susan Melick in 1823. Cornelius married Susan Gray. Cornelius Lane Monfort died in 1875.

     Susan married Cornelius Lane Monfort, son of Isaac Monfort and Hannah Lane, in 1823.

     Susan married Cornelius Lane Monfort, son of Isaac Monfort and Hannah Lane.

      Rebecca Monfort was born on Aug 27, 1800. She was the daughter of Isaac Monfort and Hannah Lane.

      Hannah Monfort was born in 1803. She was the daughter of Isaac Monfort and Hannah Lane.

      Peter Monfort was born on Sep 4, 1805. He was the son of Isaac Monfort and Hannah Lane.
