Dr. Mickey was born March 1,1922, in Poplar Bluff. He graduated from Poplar Bluff High School, the Palmer Chiropractic College and Logan Chiropractic College. He established Mickey Chiropractic Clinic in Poplar Bluff and practiced for 56 years. He also served as the past president of the Missouri State Chiropractic Association. Dr. Mickey was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Kiwanis Club. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during W.W.II in the South Pacific.
On May 20, 1946, he married Margie Wylie. She preceded him in death Aug. 10, 1994.
Survivors include one daughter, Delilah Mickey Kennen of Wheeling, W. Va; one son, Dr. Sam A. Mickey of Doniphan; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
