Della Blunt Conover, 63, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.

She was born March 28, 1944, in Harviell, a daughter of Paul and Alma Blunt. She was married for 44 years to Calvin O. Conover, who survives of the home.

She had been a resident of Sedalia for the past 31 years.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She always put the needs of her family and friends first. She had a natural gift with gardening and crafts.

Della arranged and coordinated all family gatherings. She always kept everyone’s wishes in mind.

Also surviving are three children, Calvin T. Conover, P. Nathaniel Conover and Cheryl G. Conover-Jones; her mother, Alma Blunt; a brother, Ben Blunt; three sisters, Vienna Wiley, Lorretta Raines and Sharon Wilkerson; and four grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her father.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City. Arrangements are under the direction of Mount Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home in Kansas City.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation.

      Jeremy Daniel Conover was born on Nov 6, 1975 at Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri. He was the son of Nathaniel Coburn Conover Jr. and Frances Loraine Owens.

     Maggie Conover was the daughter of Jonathan N. Conover and Emma B. Rash.

      Mark Allen Conover was born on Dec 4, 1970 at Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri. He was the son of Eddie William Conover and Bonita Ilene Lourance.
