      Andrew Jackson Conrow was born circa 1829 at New Jersey. He was the son of Daniel Conrow and Fanny (Unknown). Andrew married Catherine E. Kerney, daughter of William Kerney and Catherine Van Doren, on Apr 2, 1860 at McLennan County, Texas. Andrew Jackson Conrow died on Dec 20, 1876 at 920 Market Street, San Francisco, San Francisco County, California.
     He was also known as Andrew J. Conroe. He was also known as Andrew Jackson Conro. He was also known as Jackson Conrow. He was also known as A. J. Conrow. On between Dec 21, 1876 and Dec 23, 1876 Gideon M. Barber was jealous of Jack Conro's relationship with Ella J. Carter and went to his rooming house and killed him. Friend, Charles H. Gilman, identified the body and said he was Andrew Jackson Conro, abt 45, originally from New Jersey. No mention of his family.

      Notes for ISAAC SCHENCK: Isaac Schenck [Abt 1776-Abt 1850] Research Notes for Isaac Schenck: Revised October 15, 2004-jea The following notes have been revised; the ancestors of Mary Schenck found in most records were provided by DAR records, which all use the data from Flora Cole Jackson, a granddaughter of Mary Schenck, when she applied for membership in that organization. A number of her descendants became members by quoting her membership lineage. The information now available on census records seems to indicate that Isaac Schenck, father of Mary Schenck, who married Harvey H. Cole in Floyd, Oneida Co, NY about 1826 is an older man than previously believed, and probably a son of AlbertGerretse Schenck, who was born about 1721 in New Jersey. Other inconsistencies in the DAR & NSSRA reports indicate that details from the lives of at least two or three men living contemporarily in New York state, have been indescriminately mixed. Research is still being done to provide additional proof of these assumptions. The same information has found its way into the LDS archives, where Isaac Schenck and Ruth Ann Knox are listed as the parents of Mary Schenck with Harvey Cole as her husband. Flora Cole's membership information in the DAR is again used by Empire State Society of the Sons of the American Revolution National membership # 53183 for Philip Gillett Cole, great grand-son of Mary Schenck. (NY State membership # 5464). Donald Schenck, of Plainfield, New Jersey, a Schenck Family Historian, who died in about 1980, used the same DAR records to compile his record of this branch of the Schenck family. Most of the Schenck Family records found to date give very few details of the life of Isaac Schenck, other than birth & death dates. In this branch of the tree, records become sketchy about 1800, when the major migrations into New York state were well under way, and few imprints of the travelers were left along the transportation routes. National Society Sons of the American Revolution ( NSSRA ) NationalMembership # 127442 & State membership # 2744, for David Duane Crothers, provides a genealogical descent from Isaac Schenck, listing a different wife. Usingother known facts, such as the birth date of 1801 for the above Mary Schenck, and the latest census reports found for various Isaac Schencks, it appears that Jemima Van Wagenen was married to a younger Isaac Schenck, whom she married about 1820, in Owasco, Cayuga Co, NY. Schenck family records from the Van Wagenen descendants give the only wife as Jemima Van Wagenen. Their record appears to be well documented for the Isaac Schenck, husband of Jemima Van Wagenen, and will be used for her branch of the Schenck Family. The information under notes for Isaac [#1] Schenck seems to confirm that Isaac Schenck from Floyd, NY is the father of Samuel Schenck , b abt 1798-1799 and Mary Schenck, b abt 1801.The ages found in the 1820 census of Floyd, Oneida Co, NY for Isaac Schenck agree with the accepted dates of the individuals. The other Isaacs are younger men, & therefore must be different individuals. [See the notes for Isaac Schenck [#1] father of Mary Schenck [#1] for additional data. It is not repeated here.]

      Harvey H. Cole was born on Sep 30, 1802 at Rutland, Rutland County, Vermont. He was the son of Samuel Cole and Abigail Houghton. Harvey married Mary Schenck, daughter of Isaac H. Schenck and Ruth Ann Knox. Harvey H. Cole died on May 5, 1891 at Turin, Lewis County, New York, at age 88. Harvey was buried at Hoseville Cemetery, Hoseville, Lewis County, New York.
