Mrs. Effie B. Little, passed away at the home 509 South Capital Ave., Lansing, Tuesday, December 6th at 10:25 p.m. She is survived by a son, R. B. Little of Auburn, Ind., and a daughter, Mrs. W. A. Redmond of Toledo. Mrs. Little was a former resident of Grand Ledge and was a member of the Congregational church of this place.

Funeral services were held in Lansing, Friday, Rev. Slater officiating. Interment was made at Grand Ledge.

Harry L. Shoemaker, 241 Ma_tz Street, Berwick, died Wednesday, Jan. (sic) 9, 1953, while on his way home from work. He was 64.

He attended the Bethany Evangelical United Brethern Church of Berwick and he was a member of the Berwick Lodges of Eagles and Moose. He had been employed by the American Car and Foundry Company since 1916 and for some time had been employed in No. 5 Machine Shop. Surviving are his wife, Eva Shoemaker, Muncy; seven sisters, Mrs. Lulu Webster of Sewickley, Mrs. Benton Belles of Berwick, Mrs. Harry L. Rogers of Hughesville, Mrs. Chester A. Laurenson of Williamsport, Mrs. Earl McClintock of Strawberry Ridge, Mrs. Mabel Berger of Lairdsville, Mrs. Albert Burke of Hughesville, and
three brothers, Lester M. of Sonestown, Peter L. of Newberry and Clayton Shoemaker of M_____. Services will be held at the funeral home in Berwick Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. A. I. Jacobs, pastor of
the Bethany EUB Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Hughesville cemetery.

HUGHESVILLE--Mrs. Ruby L. Rogers, 75, wife of Harry L. Rogers, Sr., of Hughesville RD 1, died today , Thursday, Feb. 20, 1975, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Raymond Taylor of Montgomery RD 1, following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Strawbridge on June 23, 1899, a daughter of William and Idella Strawbridge Shoemaker.

Mrs. Rogers was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She was a past noble grand of Lady Hughes Rebekah Lodge 215.

Mrs. Roger was also a member of the auxiliary of Glenn Sharrow American Legion Post 35 and Kellenbach-Mead Barracks 163, Veterans of World War I, Williamsport.
She was also a member of the Hughesville Garden Club and Muncy Historical Society.

Surviving, besides her husband and daughter, are another daughter, Mrs. Emerson Knyrim, of Montoursville; a son, Harry L., Jr., of Hughesville RD 1; two brothers, Lester Shoemaker, of Sonestown, and Clayton Shoemaker, of Montgomery; five sisters, Mrs. Elsie Bellis, of Berwick, Mrs. Earl McClintock, of Muncy Valley, Mrs. Benjamin Farnsworth, of Muncy, Mrs. Pearl Laurenson, of South Williamsport, and Mrs. Albert Burk, of Hughesville, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Newhart's, 209 South Main Street, with the Rev. David H. Harris, her pastor, and Rev. Robert E. Gerger, pastor of the Hughesville Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in Picture Rocks Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Milford McClintock

ALLENWOOD--Mrs. Dorothy McClintock, aged 25, wife of Milford McClintock, of this place, died at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the Williamsport Hospital. She had been a patient since Oct. 29, when she gave birth to a child.

Surviving are her husband and her week-old daughter, Donna, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Shoemaker, of near Hughesville, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Kline Webster, Pittsburgh; Harry Shoemaker and Mrs. John Montague, Berwick; Lester Shoemaker, near Hughesville; Miss Mabel Shoemaker, near Opp; Percy Shoemaker, Williamsport; Mrs. Harry Rogers, Hughesville; Mrs. Chester Laurenson and Mrs. Earl McClintock, Strawbridge; Clayton Shoemaker, at home; and Mrs. Edward Burk.

Funeral services will be held at the home here at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Collins E. Hazen, of Muncy, will officiate and interment will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hughesville.
