Carolyn Haley

Carolyn E. Haley, 91, of the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Woodsfield, Ohio, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006 at the center.

She was born at New Lexington, Ohio, on Jan. 21, 1915, a daughter of the late George and Grace Lehman Hankinson.

She was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Woodsfield, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and the choir; a member of the Rebekah Lodge in New Lexington, Ohio and had been a volunteer at the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Woodsfield, Ohio. She enjoyed gardening in her spare time.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold P. Haley in 1998; three sisters, Irene Jadwin, Elsie Baggott and Mabel Rader; one brother, Emerson Hankinson; and a daugh- ter-in-law, Leanna Louise ?Nan? Haley.

Surviving are one daughter, Lynn (Bud) Rousenberg of Jerusalem, Ohio; one son, Jan (Kay) Haley of Woodsfield, Ohio; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, with Rev. Robert Mitchell and Rev. Noah Oxley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Jerusalem Cemetery, Jerusalem, Ohio.
