Ada was buried at Columbia Cemetery, Columbia, Adair County, Kentucky.
     

Funeral services for Mrs. Ada May Conover, 68 years of age, were held Tuesday, January 20, at 2:00 p.m. from the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Bohrer and the Rev. Harlan Williams officiating. Burial was in the Columbia Cemetery in Columbia, Ky. Mrs. Conover was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church.

Pallbearers were: Albert Ross, Richard McMahan, Forrest Hogue, Abb McKnight, Delbert Ballard, and Roy Walker. Honorary pallbearers were: L.T. Wheat, Omer Goode, L.B. Hilton, J.A. Jones, Ira Tucker, and Waco McKinley.

Mrs. Conover, who had been in ill health for a number of years, died at the Rosary Hospital, Campbellsville, at 8:30 a.m. January 19. She had made her home with her son, Dr. James Conover on Cherokee Dr. of this city. She was born in Adair County on July 19, 1890, the daughter of Susan Phillips and A.R. Feese. Her husband, S. Ray Conover preceded her in death. Survivors are her son, Dr. James R. Conover; three sisters, Mrs. Horace Massie, City; Mrs. Cleve Thomas, Corbin; and Mrs. Etta Miller, Grand Junction, Colorado; and two grandchildren, Alyce and Jim Ray Conover (News Journal, Jan 29th, 1959).

      James R. Conover was born in 1914 at Kentucky. He was the son of Samuel Raymon Conover and Ada May Feese.

Conover, son of James Flavius Conover and Florence Ethel Wilkinson. Maggie Aaron died on Feb 4, 2009 at Summit Manor Nursing Home, Columbia, Adair County, Kentucky, at age 92.
     

Maggie Conover, 92, of Columbia, Ky., died at 2:35 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia after a long illness.

Daughter of the late Granville Tildon and Minnie Mae Sparks Aaron of Adair County, Ky., she was a sales clerk for Russell & Co. for 27 years and was of the Nazarene faith.

She was married to Buel Conover, who preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 1982.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Sandy Conover of Columbia; three grandchildren, John Aaron Conover, Lucinda Ballou Conover and Kathryn Willis Conover; and two nieces, Doris Aaron and Janice Aaron.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, James Kenneth Conover in 1937 and Carl Gene Conover in 1947; and two brothers, Samuel Aaron and Paul Aaron.

Funeral was Friday, Feb. 6 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia. The Rev. Bobby Grant and Bro. Eric Gilbert officiated. Burial was in Columbia Cemetery.

     Granville married Minnie May Sparks.

     Minnie married Granville Tildon Aaron.
