She was born on Nov. 27, 1938, in Dubuque, daughter of Donald and Meryl (Haas) Roddick. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1957.

She married Ronald D. Drish on Nov. 27, 1958. She was a full-time homemaker, and had the privilege of raising her five boys.

She was an avid bowler and water skier.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, where she held many offices, including past president. Janice also was involved in many different charities and volunteer work.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald; five sons, Dennis (Dawn) Drish, of Texas, David (Barb) Drish, of Mississippi, Daniel "Danny" (Tracey) Drish, of Anamosa, Iowa, and Duane (Tanya) Drish and Douglas Drish, both of Dubuque; 11 grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Downs.

J. Muldoon, age 68, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at his home after a brief, but courageous, battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 22, 1935, in Lancaster, the son of Joseph and Naomi (Louthain) Muldoon. On Oct. 22, 1955, he married Elaine M. Burbach at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster. Together they farmed on the Muldoon family farm in South Lancaster Township. He was employed at the former Dubuque Packing Company for more than 27 years. He was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church, where he was an usher. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting antiques, and Civil War memorabilia. He received patents for two of his own inventions. He dearly loved his family and giving rides on the six-wheeler to his grandchildren. Larry was very proud of his granddaughter, Angela Muldoon, who is currently serving our country in Iraq. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Muldoon, Lancaster; five children, Steven Muldoon, Lancaster, Gary (Sheila) Muldoon, Madison, Rhonda (Kevin) Mayne, Spring Green, Richard (Beth) Muldoon, Fond du Lac, and Colleen (Darin) Schnepper, Lancaster; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Ivan Morrow, Mount Hope. He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Stephanie Muldoon; and a sister, Marian Morrow. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, at ST. CLEMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, Lancaster, with Monsignor Daniel Ganshert officiating. Burial will be in St. Clement Cemetery, Lancaster. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at MARTIN PAGE FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster, where a 4 p.m. parish scripture service will be held.

Jack married Dorothy Mame Smith, daughter of Paul Pat Burnell Smith and Nellie Oshman, on Dec 24, 1941 at Saint John's Lutheran Church, Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin. Jack Roddick died on Dec 8, 2005 at Lancaster, Grant County, Wisconsin, at age 89. Jack was buried at Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster, Grant County, Wisconsin.
     

LANCASTER - Jack Roddick, age 89, of Lancaster, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, at the Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born Sept. 26, 1916, at home in Ellenboro Township, the son of Ora "Sandy" and Isabelle (Paulson) Roddick. On Dec. 24, 1941, he married Dorothy Smith at St. John's Lutheran Church in Madison. She preceded him in death on Aug. 28, 1994. Together Jack and Dorothy farmed on the Roddick family farm near Ellenboro, for more than 50 years. Jack was a quiet, reserved man who loved life on the farm. After retiring and moving to Lancaster in 1993, he enjoyed being outdoors and working in his yard. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dennis; two brothers, Lawrence and Clarence Roddick; and his sister, Mildred Johnson. Jack is survived by his daughter, Diane (Bill) Harvey of Madison; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at 11 a.m. at the SCHWARTZ FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services. The Schwartz Funeral Home, Lancaster, is serving the family.

      Cleone Mary McDonald was born on Feb 9, 1903 at Hazel Green, Grant County, Wisconsin. Cleone married Clyde Cecil Downs. Cleone Mary McDonald died on Nov 6, 1982 at Cuba City, Grant County, Wisconsin, at age 79.

      Blanche L. Louthain was born on May 30, 1907 at Harrison Twp., Grant County, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of William Ellsworth Louthain and Sylvia Mae Stanover. Blanche married Alvin Schmitz, son of Casper Melchoir Schmitz and Magdalena Harps. Blanche L. Louthain died on Nov 19, 1996 at West Bend, Washington County, Wisconsin, at age 89.

      Beth Eastlick was born on May 7, 1917. She was the daughter of Daniel Eastlick and Nora Belle Israel. Beth Eastlick died on Jul 18, 1927 at Park City, Stillwater County, Montana, at age 10.

      Joseph H. Muldoon was born on Oct 17, 1904 at Ellenboro, Grant County, Wisconsin. He was the son of John Everett Muldoon and Mary Rosa Burgroff. Joseph married Naomi Dell Louthain, daughter of George Newell Louthain and Minnie May Horner, on Apr 9, 1932 at Lancaster, Grant County, Wisconsin. Joseph H. Muldoon died on Mar 9, 1978 at Lancaster, Grant County, Wisconsin, at age 73.

      Fannie Mariah Israel was born on Sep 20, 1883. She was the daughter of George Wellington Israel and Elizabeth Ann Chapman. Fannie married Clarence Eastlick, son of Gilbert Eastlick and Elizabeth Ann Hable, on Feb 22, 1905 at Platteville, Grant County, Wisconsin. Fannie Mariah Israel died on Jun 29, 1972 at age 88.

      Willard Denzel Eastlick was born on Apr 14, 1915 at Mont, Montana. He was the son of Daniel Eastlick and Nora Belle Israel. Willard married Frances Margaret Clemons on Dec 1, 1941. Willard Denzel Eastlick died on Oct 29, 2001 at Seymour, Wayne County, Iowa, at age 86.
