She was born July 28, 1920 in St. Louis, Mo. She attended Stephens College and graduated in 1941 from Iowa State College with a B.S. in home economics/textiles and clothing.
She was a homemaker, wife and mother of two children. She enjoyed pets, sewing, cooking, gardening and antiques.
From January 1995 to October 2002, she and her husband, Bradley H. Nelson, lived at the Marina Condominium at Harbourside on Bainbridge. They then moved to Franke Tobey Jones Retirement Estates.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years; son Murray D. (Bonnie) Nelson of Fox Island; daughter Nona N. (Rick) McCown of Pittsburgh, Pa; grandchildren Fiona N. (Todd) Walter of Mountain View, Calif., and Sara and Christopher McCown, of Pittsburgh and Colorado; and great-grandchildren Kiana and Reese Walter.
Services were held March 1 at Franke Toby Jones in Tacoma. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer?s Association or the American Heart Association. Arrangements were by Tuell-McKee Funeral Home in Tacoma.

REYNOLDS -- Anna Elizabeth Blume, 95, of Venice, Fla., formerly of Reynolds, died at 4:16 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007. She had been in failing health for several weeks.

She was born April 15, 1912, in Benton County, to the late J. Truman and Delia Sharkey Hale. She attended Wolcott schools.

Her marriage was to Lloyd Blume on June 28, 1941, in Remington. He died in July 1996. Afterward, she moved to Florida to be with her daughter.

Mrs. Blume was a homemaker. She also helped her husband operate their farm in Reynolds.

She was a member of Reynolds United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking, cooking and gardening.

Surviving is a daughter, Debbie Tribbett (husband: Bob) of Venice.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren, Adam Tribbett & Dena Merrithew, and great-grandson, Jasper Merrithew.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home, Brookston. Interment to follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Lafayette. Preceding her in death is a brother, Charles Hale, and a sister, Clara Reed. Memorials are strongly encouraged in lieu of flowers to the TideWell Hospice & Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
