Mrs. Conover was born July 11, 1916, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, and raised in Eureka, Utah.

"Although Betty was primarily a homemaker, she worked at Wolf's Department Store in the '50s and Stolts' Gift Shop and Inlet View School in the '60s.
"Betty enjoyed her time in the outdoors, which included beaver trapping with her husband in the '40s. Her family has happy memories of camping and fishing trips and good times at their cabin on Big Lake.
"She deeply loved her family and friends, especially children. To her great-grandchildren, Grandma Betty was known as the 'pudding-cup grandma' because of her endless supply of pudding cups and cookies.
"The Conover house was home to many who needed someone to care, a good laugh, or words of wisdom with cake and coffee. Many of the tenants that rented the Conovers' downstairs apartment became part of the family.
"Betty's fun-loving spirit and her wonderful sense of humor will be missed by those who knew and loved her."
