He married Catalyntie Schenck, daughter of Jan Roelofse Schenck and Sara Willemse Van Kouwenhoven, b 1724 at Millstone, Somerset County, New Jersey. Christopher Hoagland died in 1777 at Griggstown, Somerset County, New Jersey. He was buried at Griggstown, Somerset County, New Jersey.
