George Litterly of Pulaski Dies
George Litterly, 82, prominent resident of Mt. Pulaski, died at 11:20 a.m. today at St. Clara's Hospital, where he had been a patient for the last week.
He was born Jan. 5, 1862, in Elkhart Township and was married to Miss Ella Buckles Sept. 19, 1894 who, with the following children, survive: Mrs. Ova Harbert, Decatur; Claude Litterly, Mt. Pulaski, and George F. Litterly, Indianapolis, Ind. Two brothers, Adam Litterly, Onawa, Ia., and Fred Litterly, Mt. Pulaski, and one sister, Mrs. Tena Goff of Decatur, also survive.
The body was taken to the Schahl Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski, where the funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. L. H. Hooe, Tuscola, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pulaski Cemetery.
The body will be taken to the Litterly residence Thursday noon.
He was buried at Mount Pulaski Cemetery, Mount Pulaski, Logan County, Illinois.
