Byfield, daughter of Andrew Byfield and Mary Bowner, on 11. Jun. 1867. Joshua Miller died on 25. Sep. 1915 at North Vernon, Jennings County, Indiana, at age 79. He was buried in Sep. 1915 at Bear Creek Cemetery, Bear Creek, Jennings County, Indiana. Joshua Miller Mr. Miller's family now began to increase by his last wife. Thefirst was a pair of twin boys, and as he did with the other boys, he gave them scripture names, calling them Caleb and Joshua, Caleb died in infancy. Joshua is still living past the allotted time of three score and ten years. Joshuaserved in the Civil War, 40th Indiana, and after returning home married a girl by the name of Byfield. They had 4 children but only raised one, a boy. Joshua and his father divided the farm after the death of the wife and mother; and he married another lady and worked his part of the farm with the help of the boyfor a few years. He then sold out and moved to North Vernon and spending his last days enjoying what he has earned. He is in his 78th year and enjoying very good health.      Josia Miller was born on 5. Oct. 1886 at Oregon. She married Edward Clark, son of Thomas Clark and Viola Courtright, on 20. Nov. 1912.

Josia Miller and Edward Clark appeared on the census of 28. Apr. 1930 at Alicel, Union County, Oregon.
Josia Miller died in Sep. 1972 at Progress, Washington County, Oregon, at age 85.
