Phillips Dies at 69; Former Covington Supervisor Pavilion - RalphA. Phillips, 69, of 636 Perry Road died Sunday (June 26, 1983) in Buffalo Millard Fillmore Hospital after a five month illness. Mr. Phillips, a former dairy and cash crop farmer, served as Covington's town supervisor from 1974-78. He also worked as a sales representative for the American Plyable Metals Corp. of Cleveland, Ohio. He was a memberof the Pavilion First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and a Sunday school teacher. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, the former Reva Satter; three sons, Ralph Phillips of Wyoming, James Phillips, and The Rev. Paul Phillips of Wyoming; a daughter, Kathleen Little of Woodstock, N.Y; two sisters, Inez Allen of Antioch, Calif., and Vera Wilson; two brothers, Wallace of Antioch, Calif., and Vallance of Batavia; and 10 grandchildren. A prayer service at 1 p.m. tomorrow in the Weeks Funeral Home will pereced a 2 p.m. funeral service in the Pavilion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Oatka Cemetery.
