Death was caused by the infirmities of old age.
The deceased was born in St. Catherine's, Ontario Canada on 13th February, 1849.
He was united in marriage to Miss Mary Fish, near St. Catheri ne's the 7th of December, 1875.
She preseded him in death on the 31st of Mar ch 1928.
To this union four children were born: Mrs Emma White, who passed aw ay at her home in Isabella County on the 5th of January, 1928:
Mrs. Anna Shi nabarger of Lake City: George Ribenburg of Flint: and Gordon Ribenburg of this city.
He came to this vicinity in 1879 and to Clare in 1904, Where he did carpenter work for many years.
Besides the three children, he is survived by e ithteen grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Thurston Funeral Home Saturday
afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in the Cherry grove cemetery beside his wife.
He was buried at Cherry Grove, Clare, Clere County, Michigan.
