Lela M. Canine, 90, died Dec. 25, 2004, in Klamath Falls.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Ward's Klamath Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Canine was born Aug. 20, 1914, in Walla Walla, Wash., to Richard Steele and Nora M. (Redding) Maulding.
She married Clarence R. Canine on March 5, 1938, in Medford.
That same year, they moved to the Klamath Basin, where she was a homemaker.
Among her interests were bridge, gardening, family activities, and traveling in her and her husband's motor home.
Mrs. Canine was a member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Eastern Star, and the Roaming Elks and served as an American Red Cross and Girl Scouts of America volunteer.
Survivors include her husband Clarence R. Canine of Klamath Falls; daughters and sons-in-law Marcia L. and Joe Furtney of Eugene and Barbara D. and Douglas Collier of Klamath Falls; granddaughters and their husbands Melissa L. and Rodney Williams of Ontario and Megan L. and Keith Jones of Portland; grandsons and their wives Robert R. and Stacey Hammack of Nampa, Idaho, and Russell C. and Michelle Hammack of Hillsboro; great-granddaughters Nora Elizabeth Williams of Ontario, Morgan Reese Jones of Portland, and Virginia Gene Hammack of Nampa; great-grandsons Collier Clay Williams of Ontario, Colby Douglas Jones of Portland, and Peyton Robert Hammack, Brandt Charles Hammack and Ashton Dane Hammock of Nampa.
