Letha had a distinguished career in retailing, and was a buyer for the Jones Store, Harzfield's, and Adler's. She was also a longtime member of and active in the Fashion Group. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 27 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. (Arr. Mt. Moriah and Freeman, 816-9422004)

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron with burial at Square Rock Cemetery in Waldron.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita; three daughters, Teri Ramirez and Donna Jones, both of Fort Smith, and Melinda Watson of Baroda, Mich; two sons, Larry Stockton of London, England, and Patrick Stockton of Waldron; a sister, Orpha Bell of Duncan, Ariz; three brothers. Gerald Stockton of Springdale, Larry Stockton of Ft. Scott, Kan., and Kevin Stockton of San Antonio; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Christopher and Nathan Ramirez, Joshua and Matthew Jones, Harold Burt and Larry Stockton Jr.
The body may be viewed from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Thomas J. Stockton, 74, of Waldron, Arkansas died in his home on June 25, 2007. He was born July 6, 1932 to Gerald M. and Fern (Schaefer) Stockton in Stanbury, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patricia Redeker of Olpe, KS. Tom proudly served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked for the F.W. Woolworth Company for 19 years, managing both Woolworth and Woolco Stores. He owned and operated Tee Jay's Discount in Fayetteville, Farmington and Alma for 14 years. He is survived by his wife, Juanita, of the home. He was the proud father of five children, Teri Ramirez and her husband Daniel of Ft. Smith, Larry "Randy" Stockton and his partner Iris Aquilina of London, England, Melinda Watson and her husband Brett of Baroda, MI, Patrick of the home and Donna Jones and her husband Don of Ft. Smith. He was the grandfather of 16 grandchildren, Christopher Ramirez, Sarah Ramirez Bravo and Nathan Ramirez all of Ft. Smith, AR, Heather Stockton Ward and Larry R. STOCKTON, Charles Herbert, naval officer, was born in Philadelphia, Pa., Oct. 13, 1845; son of the Rev. William Roger and Emma (Trant) Stockton; grandson of Charles and Eliza Stockton and of G. Gross and Hannah Trent, and a descendant of Richard Stockton of New Jersey, who settled first in Flushing, L.I. He was graduated from the U.S. Naval academy, Annapolis, Md., in 1865; was commissioned ensign, Dec. 1, 1866; promoted master, March 12, 1868; lieutenant, March 26, 1869, and lieutenant-commander, Nov. 15, 1881. He was married, Nov. 23, 1880, to Pauline Lentilhon, daughter of Peter and Eliza (Lentillion) King of New York city, and his daughter, Cornelia Stockton, was married in 1900 to Lieut. Frederick A. Trent, U.S.N. He was made a member of the commission to select a naval station in Puget Sound, 1888; was in command of the Thetis, 1889-91, visiting the Arctic regions, as far as the mouth of the Mackenzie river; promoted commander, April 3, 1892; was second [p.34] in command at the Naval War college, Newport, R.I., 1892-95, and also lecturer on international law and naval subjects, and was in command of the Yorktown, Asiatic station, 1895-97. He was appointed president of the Naval War college, Newport, R.I., Dec. 27, 1897; promoted captain, U.S.N., July 8, 1899, and assigned to the command of the battle-ship Kentucky, Asiatic station, 1902-03.
