Rutgers H. Van Brunt, 80, resident of Lincoln forty years, died at his home, 1725 E., at 3:30 a.m. Friday. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte H., a brother, W.M., Beatrice, and a sister, Mrs. A.L. Candy, Lincoln. The body is at Roberts.

Rutgers T. Van Brunt, 80 died at his home, 1725 E. Street, at 3:00 Friday morning. He had been a resident of Lincoln for the past 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte H; a brother, W.M. Beatrice; and a sister, Mrs. A.L. Candy, Lincoln. The body is at Roberts.
Article 3 RUTGERS VAN BRUNT DIES
Veteran Hardware Salesman Ill Six Months
Rutgers Van Brunt, 81, salesman out of Lincoln, for thirty-five years, died early Friday at his home, 1725 E. after an illness of six months. He had retired three years ago after long service with Lee-Kountz Co. of Omaha.
Born in Newark, N.J., the son of Rev. Rutger and Mary Elizabeth Pepper Van Brunt, he was married in 1873 to Charlotte Mulford and they came to Lincoln in 1888, their only son dying, that year at the age of 14. Mr. Van Brunt was a member of First Presbyterian church thruout his residence in Lincoln.
Surviving are his wife, a brother, W.N. Van brunt of Beatrice; sister, Mrs. A. L. Candy of Lincoln; niece, Mary Van Brunt Winslow of Chicago, and two nephews. Winslow M. Van Brunt, of Omaha and Rutgers G. Van Brunt of Kansas City.

Van Brunt, Rutgers T.---Died at his home, 1725 Street, at 3o'clock Friday morning. He was 80 years old and had lived in Lincoln 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte H; a brother, W.M. Beatrice; and a sister, Mrs. A L. Candy, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at the home at 3:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Rev. Paul G. Calhoun officiating. Interment at Wyuka. Pall bearers; J.C. Seacrest, Walter L. Anderson, R.H. Wolcott, S.A. Foster, Joseph Grallinger, E. J. Burkett G. A. Crancer and Judge B. Rose. The body is at Roberts.
