Ted Brinkerhoff, born June 22, 1923, in Emery, Utah, to Lloyd & Zella Lenora Brinkerhoff, passed away on a beautiful Easter day, March 23, 2008, surrounded by his loving wife & children.
Ted married his sweetheart, Lenore Allan, on June 30, 1941 & then sealed for Time and all Eternity in the Manti Temple, June 30, 1950. They would have celebrated their 67th year of a beautiful marriage.
Ted served in the U.S. Army in WWII in the European Theater for 20 months, and served with General Hodges and with General Patton. His loyalty & love for the Church gave him happiness in positions in all capacities. He was President of Orem Riding Club & Edgemont Lions. Served on the committee for the Freedom Festival, July 4th for all livestock entries.
He coached his boys Little League Baseball teams for several years. He loved the great out doors, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, traveling, especially to Yellowstone each year with his loving family & friends. Worked for Geneva Steel Plant 38 years in the Open Hearth. He also was a Painting Contractor. He was the painting supervisor for the Edgemont Church Building when it was first built.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lenore, 5 children, Lynette (Brent) Jacob, Lindon, UT; Janet Mae Sanders, Pleasant Grove, UT; Randall Ted, Provo, UT; Roger Allan, (Alyce), Mapleton, UT; & Ronald Earl (Marne'), Provo, UT. He has 19 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren, brothers, Rulon, Layton, UT; Dan Brinkerhoff, Fairfield, UT; (serving a mission in Oregon w/his wife); sisters, Ann Heaton, Clearfield; Wanda Martin, Huntington, UT; Jorma Johnson, Huntington, UT; Alta Wright, Las Vegas NV.
He was preceeded in death by parents, brothers Vernon, Cal & Jesse & sisters Mae & Lenna & a wonderful grandson, Travis Ford Brinkerhoff.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008, at the Edgemont 2nd & 7th Ward Chapel, 555 East 3230 North, Provo, Utah. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem and Saturday morning from 9:30-11:15 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
Interment will be held at East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery with full Military Rites.
