She was the daughter of William Covenhoven and Lysbeth Van Cleef. Elizabeth Covenhoven married James Herbert Esq., son of James Herbert and Margaret Mount, c 1761. Elizabeth Covenhoven died on 30. Oct. 1813 at age 72. She was buried c 31. Oct. 1813 at Old Tennent Church Cemetery, Tennent, Monmouth County, New Jersey.
