Mrs. Garvey was retired from Lincoln Developmental Center where she was employed as a mental health technician. She was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church and a 50 year member of Lincoln Rebecca Lodge 9.

Survivors: two sons, Willard (wife, Phyllis) Garvey of Mount Pulaski and Robert Garvey of Indianapolis; two grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski, with Bill Shanle officiating. Interment: Lake Bank Cemetery, Mount Pulaski.

She was buried at Lake Bank Cemetery, Mount Pulaski, Logan County, Illinois.
