He resided at at Sharon town near Mudgetown, Litchfield County, Connecticut, after 1751; Sedgewick (1898. page 139 says that he "was a for more than forty years an inhabitant of Mudgetown. He came from Salisbury in 1751. He lived on the borders of the Pond....[and] died May 5 1793, at thje age of sixty-four [leaving] sons Noah, Younglove, Daniel and Philo." He married Deborah Younglove
