Ebenezer Eldredge was born in February 1707 at Chatham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. He was the son of
Probable son of William Eldred Jehosaphat Eldridge and
Probable Daughter Elizabeth Covell. Ebenezer Eldredge married
Deliverance Nickerson circa 1742. They lived in the old Covell House in Chathamport where his father had lived, occupying one half of the house, while his mother and sister, Elizabeth lived in the other half.
On 27 July 1758 his sister conveyed to him a half interest in her part of her father's estate, reserving to herself half of the house.
On 24 August 1758 his brother, Barnbas conveyed his share to Ebenezer, reserving half the house for his sister.
